How it works
Each letter grade is worth points on the 4.0 scale: A is 4.0, B is 3.0, C is 2.0 and so on down to F at 0. Middle schools usually count every subject the same, so with credits left at 1 your GPA is simply the average of your grade points.
Common questions
Does this use credits?
You can add them, but most middle schools do not, so leaving each at 1 gives a plain average of your grades.
What counts as a good GPA?
A 3.0 is a steady B average, and 3.5 or higher is strong going into high school.
