Each assignment counts by its weight. Your overall grade is the sum of each grade times its weight, divided by the total weight. The weights do not need to add up to 100.

Do the weights have to add up to 100?
No. The calculator divides by whatever the weights add up to, so any numbers work.
What should I put as a weight?
Use how much each item is worth in the class, for example homework 20, midterm 30, final 50.
